I sinned and i was guilty

How can you call upon the name of the Lord?

1. Recognize that you have fallen short of God’s standard of perfection. We have all sinned. Romans 3:23 tells us, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” You will never call on God unless you believe you need Him.

2. Understand that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins. 1 Corinthians 15:3 tells us, “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.” He died so that you might live.

3. Know that Jesus Christ was raised from the grave so that you could have eternal life. John 11:25-26 tells us, “(25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

4. Pray in sincerity and call on Jesus to be your Savior. Prayer is simply talking to God. Tell the Lord that you know you are a sinner and lost without Him. Tell Him that you believe that Jesus died on the cross for you and was raised so that you can have eternal life. Call on Him to be your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
